Question 8

What is an Infrared Sauna? Does it have health benefits?

Accepted Answer

An infrared sauna uses light to make heat, heating your body directly rather than warming the surrounding air. It offers benefits similar to moderate exercise, such as increased sweating and heart rate, at lower temperatures than a regular sauna. Some studies suggest potential benefits for blood pressure, heart health, and pain relief, though larger studies are needed for conclusive results.
